King Harry Ferry

Established in 1888, the King Harry Ferry is one of only five chain ferries in England, offering a vital link between Feock (near Truro and Falmouth) and Philleigh on the Roseland Peninsula. By avoiding a 27-mile detour through Truro and Tresillian, it saves over 5 million car miles annually, significantly reducing carbon emissions. The ferry accommodates vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians, with departures every 20 minutes from each side, seven days a week. Passengers can enjoy the tranquil beauty of the River Fal during the brief crossing, making it both a practical and picturesque journey. ​
