The King Harry Ferry is a historic chain ferry providing a scenic 5-minute crossing over the River Fal, connecting Feock and the Roseland Peninsula, and operating every 20 minutes daily
Established in 1888, the King Harry Ferry is one of only five chain ferries in England, offering a vital link between Feock (near Truro and Falmouth) and Philleigh on the Roseland Peninsula. By avoiding a 27-mile detour through Truro and Tresillian, it saves over 5 million car miles annually, significantly reducing carbon emissions. The ferry accommodates vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians, with departures every 20 minutes from each side, seven days a week. Passengers can enjoy the tranquil beauty of the River Fal during the brief crossing, making it both a practical and picturesque journey.
