Calstock Arts

Calstock Arts is a lively community arts hub operating from a lovingly restored former Methodist chapel in Calstock, beautifully sited overlooking the Tamar Valley. Founded in 2010 and now a registered charity, the venue stages around 60 events annually, including folk, jazz, classical concerts, theatre, comedy, films, talks, workshops, and exhibitions. Its Gallery Bar hosts free-entry “Gallery Bar Specials” featuring emerging regional performers, with only voluntary donations requested. The atmospheric auditorium—with its picture-window view across the river—offers superb acoustics for both performers and audiences. The venue also supports weddings, community gatherings, and creative hire events in its adaptable spaces.
