Welcome to Burncoose Estate, a beautifully refined collection of Cornish hideaways set within 30 acres of tranquil woodland gardens. Steeped in history—established by the Williams family in 1715 as part of the Caerhays Estate—the garden paths, colourful spring blooms, and sweeping magnolia drive whisper tales of Cornwall’s rich heritage.
At the heart of the estate stands Burncoose House, a lovingly restored Georgian country home that sleeps up to 14 guests. It balances period elegance with modern comforts—underfloor heating, stylish en-suite bathrooms, a sociable kitchen and dining room, cosy drawing room, and a conservatory perfect for quiet laps of afternoon tea or lively parties.

You’re free to roam the grounds—play croquet on the lawns, wander woodland lanes, dip into peaceful ponds, or unwind in the private hot tub tucked into the courtyard. The estate is licensed for civil ceremonies and marquee receptions for up to 150 guests—ideal for truly personal weddings or inclusive celebrations.

Beyond the main house, there’s a charming array of self-catering properties: The Coach House, Stable Flats, Treweege Barns, and The Copper House (currently being beautifully restored). These can be hired individually or together, creating a flexible retreat for families, groups, or wedding parties.

Garden lovers will delight in Burncoose Nurseries, an esteemed plant haven open to visitors, showcasing award-winning collections of camellias, magnolias, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, and rare botanic treasures in a setting that's as educational as it is picturesque.
