Nestled in the heart of Wadebridge, Cornwall Pottery is the creative haven of ceramicist Astrid Whitton. With over two decades of experience, Astrid crafts each piece using locally sourced St Agnes Dobles and KGM clays, resulting in unique stoneware that marries functionality with aesthetic appeal. Her collection ranges from everyday items like mugs and bowls to bespoke commissions that reflect the natural beauty of Cornwall. Astrid's dedication to her craft extends beyond her studio. She actively participates in Cornwall's vibrant artisan scene, showcasing her work at venues such as Quay Art Gallery in Padstow and Pencarrow House and Gardens. Additionally, she offers pottery throwing courses for beginners aged 11 and up, sharing her passion and expertise with aspiring potters.
